KENT CITY, MI — The Kent City Softball Invitational, held on April 19, 2025 at Kent City High School, featured top teams Sparta and Cedar Springs, with Sparta emerging as the standout performer over the weekend.

In the round-robin format, Sparta showcased tournament dominance in key matchups:

Sparta beat Kent City 11–0, blanking the hosts in commanding style. Sparta downed Cedar Springs 15–1, demonstrating offensive firepower and defensive control.

Meanwhile, Cedar Springs bounced back from their loss to Sparta with a 10–3 victory over Kent City later in the day, securing a strong second-place showing in the invite.
