E.J. Ryans, a standout player from Northview High School, is gearing up to join the Western Michigan University basketball team this winter. After committing in June 2023, Ryans is poised to bring his dynamic skills and competitive spirit to the Broncos.

High School Success

During his time at Northview, Ryans became known for his versatility on the court. Standing at 6’3″, he excelled both as a scorer, facilitator and defender. His ability to play the combo guard position at point or on the wing and his high basketball IQ made him a coveted recruit.

Ryans is certain to bring that same hungry competitive energy with him as he joins the Broncos.

E.J. Ryans’ journey from Northview High School to Western Michigan is a testament to his hard work and passion for the game. He will be joined by fellow Northview teammate and recent Bronco commit, Brady Schwartz, in 2025.
