Kenowa Hills Claims Kent City Cup in Thrilling Tournament Victory

KENT CITY, MI — In a weekend filled with rivalry, grit, and standout performances, Kenowa Hills High School emerged victorious to capture the coveted Kent City Cup, topping off a competitive three-team event hosted by Kent City and Ottawa Hills.

Over the weekend, all three schools (Kenowa Hills, Kent City, and Ottawa Hills) competed in a round-robin format, battling for top honors in baseball and softball competitions. Kenowa Hills secured the championship by defeating both opponents, including a notable win over hosts Kent City.

The Knights opened their campaign with a decisive victory over Ottawa Hills, setting the tone for the tournament. Following that win, Kenowa charged past Kent City with a strong, balanced performance, featuring timely hitting, solid pitching, and reliable defense across the field.
