The Kent City junior baseball team closed their season this weekend as a top 8 finisher in Michigan. The boys made a statement right away on the back of excellent pitching with three consecutive wins before falling in the sudden death elimination round.

This marks the first time Kent City has been represented in the state tournament and shows a positive view of the future of Kent City baseball as they move on to the high school game next spring. This is a class to watch the next four years.
